By using a blog, we can communicate to each other easily and read others writing.The blog system is easy to use but sometime can not sign in.Also it is hard to change the setting of the blog.
I think blog system can use in all others subjects .It can provise a channel for communication between teacher and student.
Teacher can answer students question in the blog.

Introductory Paragraphs Techniques

The four basic techniques that are covered in this site are anecdote,Impact statement,General statement and Rhetorical question.They are used in difference use.

Anecdote is used a short story to let the reader know more about the topic.
Impact statement is used to give impaction to the reader and attract them to read .
General statement is used to give a general picture of the article to reader.
Rhetorical question asked a question to attract the reader to read the article to find the aswer.

I think this four techniques is very useful in written introduction.They are mainly used to attract the reader to continuous read the article.I think rhetorical question is more useful than others.Because this techniques can attract the reader to read through the article.

Assessment two Air pollution

“Hong Kong air is too bad that I can not breath anymore “said by a visitor. Nowadays, the pollution problems in Hong Kong become a serous problem, especially air pollution. Pollution means the undesirable state of the natural environment being contaminated with harmful substances as a consequence of human activities. In Hong Kong ,pollutant mainly come from human activity includes: burning fossil fuel in power station, chemical process in industry, combustion in motor vehicles and the incineration of solid wastes. They give a large impacts to environment. As the problem becomes worse, so I would like to talk about this problem by give out some harmful effect of air pollution to the environment and human life. Besides that, I will give out some suggestions to solve the air pollution problem in Hong Kong.

My first point will start with the environmental and health problems caused by air pollution.
Firstly , air pollution is the main cause of acid rain. Acid rain is formed by the droplets of pollutant dissolved in rain. This pollutant mainly come from industries , such as sulphur dioxide and nitrogen oxides. Acid rain will damage the tree directly and make the tree death. Also , acid rain will make the becomes acidity and it is unfavorable for plant growth .This will increase the rate of deforestation.

Acid rain also affect human life. Acid rain may damage the structure of buildings and made the buildings become unsafe. Furthermore when we breath in the vapor contains acid ,it may causes respiratory diseases such as asthma which may cause death.

Beside acid rain, air pollutants also can cause global warming. Global warming means the gradual increase in the average temperature in the atmosphere. This mainly due to th accumulation of greenhouse gases , for example carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide was produced by burning fuels from car and power station. The increasing of temperature will melt the ice caps in two polar and the sea liver will rise. Flooding would occur in coastal regions where about one-third of human will be affected. Also ,high temperature is not favor to animals but more favor to pests. Pests could become more active and grow faster. This will disturb the balance of natural environment.

Lastly,air pollutants will cause ozone depletion. Chlorofluorocarbons (CF C's) compound is the major cause of ozone depletion. CFC mainly come from aerosol sprays ,cooling agents in refrigerators or combustion of plastic. As you know, ozone in atmosphere filters out ultra-violent radiation that reaches the earth. The destruction of ozone layer will cause many harmful effects to human. An increase in exposure in ultraviolet radiation may increase the rick of skin cancer. Also , large amount of UV light will damage plants and wildlife.

As there are many harmful effects to our world,we must do as much as we can to reduce the problems air pollution.

Firstly , the government should have more legislation and monitor. Government should require cars and factories to reduce excessive emission of air pollutants. Inspection should be done regularly to ensure they do not emitting excessive pollutants. Also, a pollutants cleaning system should be installed compulsory,so that the exhaust gas is cleaned before release to air.

Beside government policy , you can also contribute to the protection. For example, you can use more public transport instead of private car , turn off the electrical appliance when not use .You can also use less aerosol sprays to reduce the pollutants produced.

As a conclusion, air pollution is the problem of every person .This is harmful to us and our next generation. Because of this , we more concern about this problem and try our best to due with this problem.

My first interview.

I still remember the first interview in my life. It happened when I was five years old. The interview was about the application for primary school. They asked me many difficult questions, it still remember some of this questions .One of the question was asking me who was the president of American. For a five years old child, I certain did not know the answer. At that time , I felt nerves and helpless.. Do you know what person I answer?
I asked the name of the school. It is the name of a rich person! You may have a question: What is the result of the interview? The result was I still can get into that school. Do not ask me why, I think they may thought me answer was creative.

Unit 7 Activity 5

Compare and contrast the advantages and disadvantages of eatind at home and eating outside.

For the environment of eating,eating at home is better than eating outside. When you are eating at home , there is a place you familiar with and only have your family members. You can eat any way you like. While when you eating outside ,you need to keep a good table manner because there are many people here. Also, when you eating at home,you can about talk any thing you want ,for instance you can talk about more personal things on the other hand , eating outside cannot. Besides that, when you eating at home , there are no other people disturb you while eating outside you may be disturbed. You may felt disgusted when someone is smoking next to you . For the reasons above, eating at home is better than eating outside from the eating environment point of view.

Suicide problem

In China, there were more than 250000 suicides per year and around 2.5 to 3.5 million people have attempted suicide. Suicide is the fifth largest cause of death all over the world. The government should more concern about this problem. There are many reasons that people committed suicide.For young people they may do this because of the less of life experience. When they come across a problem, they have no way to solve it, and then they may try to escape from the problem by other way, for example, drugs abuse or committed suicide.Also, young people are needed to have competition with adult after graduate; they may under a high pressure. They will feel depression and try to end their life by committing suicide.TO prevent the suicide problem become worse, government should more concern about the young people needs and provide more job opportunity for young people. Also government should set up a national, around the clock and fee hotline for the people to call when they want to commit suicide. This can prevent suicide of people especial young people.
